One of the major suppliers like Marine Parts Source or Hurrikain will tell you which tstat you need. Word of caution as you replace it..but you probably already know it -- if you have a heat exchgr, drain the AF from the HE first or when you pull the tstat AF will gush out..all over your nice clean bilge.
Also, consider ht epossibility of an air bubble in the cooling system - that will prevent the stat from doing its job properly. If you want to test the one you have, put it into a pan of hot waterand track the temp with something like a candy thermometer or one of the new, precise Infra red or IR temp measuring devices. Watch the stat open and close. As soon as you pull it out of the water (with tongs), the action should reverse.
They are cheap enough but a bad one causes too much anxiety
