Anyone know offhand what battery charger the 1990 Marinette 32's have installed? Pretty sure its 20 amp, 3 bank but don't know make/model. I forgot to check before the marina blocked and shrink wrapped it.

Not sure if there was a stock batt charger. Our 89, 28' had nothing but perhaps it was an option.
The 86, 32' we got used had what could have been a stock charger or at least installed by the dealer when the boat was new. It was a Guest, 2 bank. I think it was 15A. It really did not meet the charging and house load needs, imo.

Bill, lots of options here, I would guess, but Detour has a Raritan, Crown II "B" series marine converter. Model no. R4032B-3/20 amp (3 bank). Installed 3/1987, still working 24/7/12.

Thanks Jim but I have new info: Factory Charger is a Newmar 30 amp ferro resonant 3 bank charger. I have found a Xantrex Truecharge +40 on-line, used. It is what I need for 3 bank AGM batteries with 3 step charge rates, solid state controlled. Just received it and it is near new at a fraction of the price. Will install in spring.
