We left the Spadra Marina at Clarksville Arkansas on Oct.9th. Spent 10 days on the Arkansas, Mississippi & Atchafalaya rivers.
I loaded an album on Picture trail, but the photos didn't arrange in order they were loaded, so I deleted the album.
I'll find another way to post the photos.

That's sounds like a great trip. Something us lake locked owners can only wish they could do. Can't wait to see your album. How many gallons of fuel do you burn on a trip like that? Did you cruze at a low speed all of the trip?

We did most of the trip on one engine, 2200 RPM, and used about 350 gal of gas.

I have posted a slide show on my website if you would like to see the trip. http://wileykiote.wordpress.com/

Thanks for the great pics, Richard. Reminded me of our trip with the catamaran down the Mississippi from the Illinois to the Ohio.

You'll have bad times, but they'll just wake you up to the good times you weren't paying attention to

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know "why" I look this way.I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

Mark,

The last two winters here in Akransas, Church Belle got frozen in ( see pic below). We got bored with the river, been on it 5 seasons. Time for a new area to explore. We will most likely stay in Louisianna for a year or two then choose another location.

Richard,

I understand what you mean; due to the economy here in tn. and living in a small county we have lost a lot of boaters, Marinas and a few friends that moved. Sure would be nice to be able to move around to new places for a fresh look. Sure would be nice to do that. Wanda wants to put in two more years at work and then call it quits. Then we will be able to find the sun during the winter; hate cold weather. I don't use this word often , but sure Envy you!

Thanks for the pictures, Richard. We circumnavigated the state of Mississippi with side trips to Knoxville on the Tennessee and Little Rock on the Arkansas. The 900 or so miles to New Orleans on the Mississippi were tough. Springtime, high water and 8 months after Katrna. You did a better job of documentation than we did. The picture of Vidalia, LA dock brought back the memory of waiting for 5 hours for a gasoline delivery. Thanks again for the pics and making long trips in your Marinette.
