Make no mistake about it. I love my blue bastards. mister starbird has had a blown head gasket for2 years. Runs like a champ. Runs pretty damn good for a blown head gasket! Have you considered mainly replacing the head gasket (and having the head planed)? Might do the trick. I already have the replacement motor. port engine was changed by previous owner.
