Hi all, I'm new to the forum, and this is my first post.
I just finished winterizing my newly acquired '76 32' Sedan with FB. After dislocating my elbows to get around the darn genset that is set between my motors, I was wondering if anyone has had any luck, or heard about, relocating the genset to some where more convenient? My first thought was the cavernous compartment below the aft deck. Seems a shame to have so much usable room in the engine room and drop a generator square in the middle of it.
Thanks

Thanks for the input guys! Might try below the aft deck. Its an old Onan, would love to replace it with one of those beautiful Westerbekes, sadly, prob not in the budget right now. Is a great looking setup though. Thanks for the pix, drooled a little over them.
Thinking about having a sliding mount fabricated. Sort of akin to a large drawer slide. Figure that way if you needed to get to either side you could just slide it over the opposite way, with some sort of pins or stops to keep it midship most the time for balance.
I'll post again with some pics if it pans out.
