YEA Norn,
Those private bidding get me to wondering who is doing all the increasing and raising the price. I wont buy if it is a private bidder.

I just checked. Every single bid is from a private bidder?

I was going to snipe at it in the high sevens but it went to the 8's. I already have 2 Marinettes and that one is 950 miles away.

$8700 and that bid held up for over 2 minutes. Nobody sniped at it. If those engines are good someone got a nicely equiped boat.

That whole "no looking at boat before auction ends" kind of smells fishy..

I live 950 miles away and own two Marinettes but I was still watching to snipe at it in the 7’s. I needed a real bargain because I couldn’t inspect the engines. The last bid held for over 2 minutes so there wasn’t much last minute action. But I needed a price that allowed me to travel there and then float it and flip it for a nice profit so I backed off.

Before the auction I checked out some legit yacht broker prices on 32‘s. Ouch! They are way down. Most low to mid 20’s Nearby in Baltimore there is a 1988 listed for $14,900 and a 1989 for $13,900. Funny, the Midwestern lake boats are being listed higher. The 37’ and bigger boats run much higher. 32’s are just great deals right now.

I would say that the cheaper Marinette's are Salt water M. Here in Georgia we get a lot of salt water boats brought up from Florida. They get cleaned up real nice and sold for a lower price that normal. I have owned one of these salt water center console's and it was a piece of crap. I would have been a lot better paying more for a fresh water boat. I had problems with electrical conection, pumps, engine. Im not sure how Marinetts's in salt water hold up? Maybe some of their owners can enlighten me. If I was purchasing one I think I would rather pay $25,000 for a fresh water M. Than $15,000 for a Salt water one. What do you guys think?

I looked at this boat a couple years ago.
Deep pitting in the hull, all over.
Much water damage in V berth
About 1.5 feet of water in bildge that looket have been sitting for quite some time..... Perhaps years
Stiff controls.
I was not interested
At the price it sold it may be OK with a lot of work and $$$
The hull looked really bad though..
