Thanks for the responses on my idea on how to draw water up (for wash-down) from lake. I've fine-tuned the idea a little. Since the boat is fairly large I will need good pressure to get all the way to the top and front of the boat. On shore/dock I will have hose water access. While out on water I will use my boat generator to power the ShurFlo Industrial A/C powered 30PSI pump(with 9ft vertical max draw)for a good solid water stream for wash-down/rinsing(and wetting down the ladies in the bikinis when needed.) The wetting down the ladies part I know for sure I will do but what do you think about the rest? Is it correct to locate the pump as close to A/C power as possible? I was thinking about having the pump in the engine room (note: I have converted this to an outboard and do not have an inboard.) Check out sketches on: http://s1216.photobucket...oat/Thru%20hull%20idea/ And the whole boat project on: http://s1216.photobucket...dd377/projecthouseboat/ Also see anode section of that projecthouseboat pics.
Thanks again Marinette owners.
