That fresh waster pump may be toast too. If its original it is belt driven. The belt can dry out and break and the internal bellows of the pump can crap out.
Don't bother rebuilding the pump if it is junk. You can get a much better and quieter demand pump that is not belt driven. Shurflo and Jabsco are 2 brands of demand pumps. Jabsco family include Rule, Danforth etc.
I have 2 toggles for the macerator. 1 is overhead helm and other is in the head just under the sink on the front of the cabinet. If both toggles are in the UP position the device will run. If only 1 of the 2 toggles is up it wont turn on since they are wired in series.
What type of head do you have? Is the holding tank right under the toilet?
Some of those Traveler heads on the 32's had a 2nd holding tank under the v-berth. A macerator pump was used to move the $hit from the head tank to the 2nd tank and I would assume a second macerator was used to blow the $hit out of the boat.
Come to think of it your head is not near the v-berth so I'm not sure where the 2nd tank would be located if you have one.
I keep thinking you have the sedan layout.
