I'll answer two responses on the same posting. re the rod holder, it was on the boat when I got it, I have not used it for rods, just the boat hook. The two pieces are far enough apart so a rod will fit, I dont know whether you would put the rod tip in the back piece first and the handle it the front or vice versa,
As to the name of the ceiling material, I don't recall. I think it is sold as shower walls, or for other wet locations. It took two people to hold it up when screwing in place because of it's thinness, it was like handling spagetti. It didn't threaten to break when holding it in the center, I'm happy with the results as the original stuff was a thin plywood covered with vinyl and water had leaked into it in one front corner and the plywood rotted. This wont rot.
