Helo All,

Cut two new holes in the hull today for the underwater lights. They are 35W halogen. Used 1 1/4" knockout punch.

More pictures here.

Was going to ask what you used to isolate them from the hull but I see the housings are made of Aluminum. Nifty!
I'd like to put these all around the boat. Look like the Nautilus.

Thanks. The instructions call for 3M 5200. It states that there are O rings but there aren't.

As per instructions:
6. Tighten the locking nut. On some vessels, if the hull is thin like a solid glass boat or aluminum vessel, make a spacer out of teak, Delron, or Starboard to fill the gap.

Made the spacers (2 1/4" OD, 1 5/8 ID, 3/8" thick) out of delrin.

Hi guys....
I nstalled the 35 watt perkos in my hull this spring. For the outside I used a hole saw and cut an o ring out of the delrin (1/8) I had. Inside the boat I cut a square block of starboard. It appears to be holding up well. Here on Lake Erie it sends the light out about 10 feet behind the boat. The water is not a clear as up there in Huron so you should be quite satisfied with the look.

Maybe we could set up a group buy, if the guy would be willing to discount?

A 'group buy' sounds like a good idea if he indeed would discount a bit more. Wonder why he dropped these from e-bay if he still has inventory?

Ordered 2 more before I saw this Group buy. These lights sell them selves wen you see them! Call him at 205-215-5083 - Randy told him they were being discussed on site. Good buy! Made of the same Marine Alum as our boats. Sorrydog
