Howdy All,

Hope U All had a GREAT BOATING Season.Applause I know I did despite the cool windy summer we experienced in the frozen tundra. Well I’m back with all the smiley faces & all. Whistle Applause I’ve gotta get me a laptop for next season as soon as I recover some $$$$$ from the high fuel bill I’ve incurred over the season. d'oh! Sure could of used some of the good advice from this site when I reinstalled the F/B ran into a few minor glitches thanks to Stan Applause for his time & knowledge in the help of getting
my sycro back up. A word to the wise don’t take any wiring for granite, mark all no matter how simple it may look. My thought was at the time was this looks self explanatory why mark it 4 hrs. later I was still
scratching by head, d'oh! Thanks again Stan even though U drink that Moose Pi$$.To All I hope the off season goes by quickly & we are All back plying the waters, fuel prices allowing.Brick wall Fred B. it sure was a pleasure meeting U & the lovely wife although a short meeting but enjoyable. The IRS may look but, as you know, those coffee cans are well hidden.

We hope to get a few more weeks out of the boat. I'm trying to square away all the tuning problems I got so they won't bug me next year. With identical Edelbrock carbs, the port engine spark plugs come out a nice light tan; the other motor's plugs are stark white and show signs of preignition. Same damn jetting, properly timed, running the correct (checked) temperatures, etc. Starting to PISS me off! Gonna rejet the carb richer and see if that cures it, but I'm running out of time.

The fun never ends.

Jeff,

Unofficial roughly about 1200 gal Haven’t had the time to sit down & telly it up yet or it might
be that I’m to frightened to do it ~$$$$~ d'oh! A full day of fishing on average would run $250
OUCH, I usually run out on both eng.(10mi/20mi) than troll several hr. @ about 850/950 RPM
switching eng to equalize the hr meters. Think I must be slipping into senility cause I can’t remember
discussing running on one eng. Like U I’m not a go slow boater if-in I were I believe I’d buy me
a G/B trawler which might not be a bad idea, after talking to several trawler owners that pulled
into port & finding out what their fuel consumption was compared to mine Brick wall Cheeze !! U - R a
young puppy I’ve had my MC card for what seems like centuries but I’m not doing to bad @ 83
& still crawling around a Big M bilge Whistle
