Careful about what you wish for. Don't forget it is a boat.

Re: 318 ignition system

For what it's worth, I bought a pair of pertronics distributor and coils for my 318s. I won't go into how my original distributors met their demise...just pay attention when you hook up your old Judson sync. What happened under the cap qualified as welding. Im pretty sure there was only one rotation...

You are my hero. You've got to be running out of things to powder coat, replace, re engineer, rebuild or flat out make cool? Would you consider putting me in your will? Love the restoration threads. Keep up the great work!

Crazy as it sounds, everything I know about boats I learned from the internet and drunk people. So far so good. Praying for a quick thaw in upstate NY.

On a side note, Upstate NY is brutal for a new boater...longest winter of my life. I imagine Rochester has nothing on Ketchikan. Stay warm friend.

Re: New Boater, New to me Marinette.

Thanks Busia. I was in Louisville KY last month and met Dennis Pluckebaum. His father designed the hull on the river cruiser and built them for Marinette. Later that design was used by pluckebaum for 40 years. Cool to make these kind of connection s to our boats. Thanks for the contact info.
