Re: New here
:D Hi I would be very careful about using any product that has bleach in it. I know works well on the green stuff and most stains but the chlorine is a strong oxidizer and very hard most of the boats surfaces. I use" marine clean" to clean on my boat nearly everywhere and its green friendl...

Re: CAPAC and Hull Potential question
Hi you need zincs on both the rudders and trim tabs as well as a predetermined amount on your hull. My 32 calls for two 3 foot strips on the sides of the keel and 12 inch pieces on the trim tabs and 6 inch strips on the rudders. I don't know how much you need on a 41 footer but I bet someone on the ...

Re: Trim Tab Pump
Hi the bennet pump you need is probably the V351 it is a small pump and fluid supply combined and uses 1/4 inch plastic lines with compression fittings. It is a very common pump and the only one I have seen on marinette's.

Re: Sherwood Raw Water Pump
Hi if you have water dripping from pump itself and not just leaking from the hoses or clamps the internal seal is shot and the bearings will fail shortly, a rebuild or replacement will be required.

Re: Packing Boxes
Hi Bill, I was just looking at that yacht supplies offerings and see that they offer non-metallic cutlass bearings. I just had the boatyard press a new bearing in the starboard strut and they used a bronze bearing. My question is weather a non-metallic is important enough to go through the time and ...

Re: Aft deck replacement questions
BigM I used king starboard for the aft deck. I screwed down from the bottom side in easy to reach spots . The stuff has non-skid molded into one side and is easy on bare feet. Nothing sticks to it and is a breeze to clean. It's made for a nice clean looking deck that should last a very long time. On...

Re: Salon Flooring
BigM Hi Guys I used starboard on my salon deck. It has a non-skid pattern molded into the surface that is easy on the feet and the stuff is easy to work with and is unaffected by sun and sea water. When screwed down from the bottom side it makes for a nice looking deck and easy to clean and maintain...
