The image of the cast housing #3745360 is not the only type used. Mine, a 1975 model, uses housing Chrysler part #E7093M, which if you google images of this type, you will see that the two nipples to feed water to the exhaust manifolds, are brass 90*s that thread into the housing. Also, if you cross reference the t-stat gasket, for example in Fel-Pro, that the gasket fits many other makes as well, like Chevy small blocks. Maybe, just maybe, a t-stat housing from a Cruisader or Mercruiser may fit. Anyone ever tried this? Not sure if any of these old t-stat housings are still available or not.
