Bow Rail Splice Insert
Re: Bow Rail Splice Insert
You could just change the whole piece of railing to get rid of the splice, or measure it and make an inside sleeve. Sleeve should be stainless, hollow tube or solid bar. Easy to make with a lathe or just a good file with oversize stock.

Re: Bow Rail Splice Insert

Sounds like you got it handled,

Pretty sure the rail material is stainless with stainless insert. Fitting on some of the earlier Marinette bow rails we're aluminum.
